Nudist photography refers to taking photos of naked people during activities in the context of naturism, e.g. during camping vacations in a naturist center, during sports, hiking and biking, swimming and diving, taking a sauna. They are mostly snapshots from leisure time, photos like they are also produced millions of times with digital cameras and cell phones from textile trailers. The only small difference: the people - men and women of all ages, fat or thin, boys and girls - are naked in the photos.

Many people outside the nudist scene consider the depiction of naked people in public media, e.g. in newspapers and magazines, on websites and in social networks, to be "indecent" and reprehensible, speak of a violation of human privacy, and reject nudist photos as immoral. At best, they allow artistic nude photography to stand. However, people with such an attitude occasionally visit a sauna, publicly display their naked bodies there, and do not realize how contradictory they are being.

Naturally, nudist photos can have an artistic aspect, but they usually have nothing to do with artistic nude photography. They are vacation photos, snapshots from the family and leisure time, which should remind later once of happy days and beautiful experiences.
I think nudist photos can and should be shown on websites and social media just like photos of the textile scene. Everyone knows what the sexual organs of men and women look like. Why should one be ashamed of one's sexual organs? Even representatives of the Christian churches increasingly see no convincing reason why one should be ashamed of one's naked body. After all, it is "God's work".

One reason for the reluctance to show nude photos in public is probably the terrible abuse scandals of the past, but also the insensitive handling of search engines with the representation of naked people. Unfortunately, search engines do not differentiate between artistic nude photographs, nudist photos and hard pornography. In many search queries, photos of nude families and individuals from the nudist area are shown right next to hard pornography. Something urgently needs to change here. The two have nothing to do with each other.
